FERNDALE, WA – A power outage means chilly classrooms for students at Ferndale’s Vista Middle School.
A transformer blew Monday, meaning no heat or hot meals at the school.
Breakfast and lunch will be served Wednesday, but again there aren’t any hot meals.
The district is asking you to have your child dressed for a cooler than normal building again Wednesday.
Crews do plan to have repairs finished by Wednesday afternoon.
