ROCKFORD, Wash. — A long-delayed hearing to determine if the teen charged in the shooting at a Spokane-area high school should be tried as an adult is now set for July 15.
17-year-old Caleb Sharpe is accused of the shooting at Freeman High School in September 2017 that killed classmate Sam Strahan and left three girls injured.
The Spokesman-Review says the hearing for Sharpe, who was 15 at the time of the shootings, has been delayed numerous times because of mental health and other evaluations.
