The Lynden Christian and Sehome prep softball teams had their seasons come to an end Friday. The Lyncs and Mariners were both knocked out of state tournament play.
Lynden Christian fell to Lakeside 1-0 and Zillah 7-6 in the 1A tournament in Yakima. The Lyncs finish the season with a record of 12-and-12.
In the 2A tournamanet play Sehome went 1-and -2 in Friday’s games in Selah. The Mariners beat Ridgefield 14-to-12, before losing to Port Angeles (4-0) and East Valley of Yakima (10-6). Sehome finished the year with a 23-and-3 mark
