It was a win and two losses for Whatcom County teams in the opening round of the girls soccer state tournament Wednesday.
Bellingham beat Olympic 1-0. The Red Raiders move on to play Columbia River in the quarterfinals.
Lynden Christian got knocked out by King’s Way Christian 2-0.
Lynden was eliminated by West Valley of Spokane 4-1.
