In the high school volleyball ranks Thursday Bellingham beat Mount Baker, Squalicum defeated Nooksack Valley, Ferndale got by Lakewood, Meridian lost to Anacortes and Blaine fell to Burlington.
Girls soccer saw Sehome beat Lynden Christian 3-1, Ferndale defeated Lakewood 2-1, Squalicum shut out Nooksack Valley 5-0, Blaine lost to Burlington 3-0 and Meridian and Anacortes played a 2-2 tie.
