BELLINGHAM, Wash. — More traffics impacts are coming to Samish Way in south Bellingham on the ¾ mile of the Samish-Maple-Ellis corridor from Bill McDonald Parkway to Lakeway Drive.
Bellingham Public Works says the Samish Maple Ellis Multimodal Safety Improvements project has started with retaining wall construction on Samish Way south of Byron Street and median construction along Maple and Ellis streets.
Flaggers will allow for local access and direct travelers to area detours.
Elsewhere, pavement striping is set for Slater Road from the Ferndale City limits to Lake Terrell Road this Thursday and the County says drivers should expect long delays.
And continue to expect overnight lane closures on the Guide between Bakerview and Stuart Road as water improvement work continues there.
