BELLINGHAM, Wash. – If you’re mailing your primary election ballot this year, it must be postmarked by 8pm Tuesday.
18 drop boxes are available throughout Whatcom County—those also have the same 8pm Tuesday deadline.
Key contested races this year include the State Senate 42nd District with Republican incumbent Doug Ericksen of Ferndale and US House and Senate races.
Under Washington State’s “top two” primary system, only those races with more than two candidates will be affected by Tuesday’s vote.
