LYNDENT, Wash -The Darigold plant in Lynden will soon be able to give the city of Lynden, its cow water.

After years of discussions, a project to pipe Darigold’s left over water to the city’s treatment plant is set to break ground.

This is important to Lynden, because it allows the city to take about 20% more drinking water from the Nooksack River.

The project is scheduled to be finished sometime next year.
