BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Property tax statements will be in your mailbox soon.
The Whatcom County Treasurer’s Office says more than 100,000 tax statements are being mailed out countywide this weekend.
Among other things, taxpayers will be able to see how voted levies and bond measures impact their bill as well as the changes in the non-voted portions of their taxes.
Treasurer Steve Oliver encourages taxpayers to examine statements carefully as they provide a considerable amount of info, plus the Treasurer’s Office has made a few changes to the form this year.
