Protests against vaccine mandates continue outside Bellingham’s hospital.
The group We Will Whatcom has organized another demonstration at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Wednesday evening.
PeaceHealth’s Northwest Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sudakar Karlapudi (Carla-poody) addressed the protests during a news conference last week.
He calls the protests disappointing, although he respects protestors opinions.
He says everyone in PeaceHealth’s system has a voice.
He calls this the greatest challenge health care has seen in the last 100 years.
Protest organizers say on a flier about this evening’s event that their goal is to make Governor Inslee aware of opposition to vaccination mandates for health care workers and others.
