BELLEVUE, Wash. — A pipeline rupture north of Prince George, B.C. is affecting Puget Sound Energy’s supply and the company is asking its Washington customers to reduce their natural gas and electricity usage for Wednesday.
Duane Henderson with PSE tells KING 5 they want customers to lower their thermostats, and wait until the evening to take showers or wash dishes and clothes.
The local gas system is safe and wasn’t damaged.
No injuries were reported in yesterday’s rupture.
Due to a pipeline rupture Tuesday in B.C., Canada, we’re asking for your help conserving natural gas and electricity today. Lowering your thermostat and limiting hot water use can make a difference. Our local gas system is safe and was not damaged by the pipeline failure.
