Local officials are contemplating a new multi-purpose events center in Whatcom County.
Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism is seeking community input to help determine interest in and need for the facility.
They say it could enhance community health by increasing access to athletic opportunities, increase the ability to host sports events year-round, and provide enough indoor space to host large events with room for up to 10,000 people.
The public is invited to weigh in through a public survey here.
