BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham and Whatcom County residents are invited to help develop a proposal for a county-wide racial equity commission.
The Community Visioning Summit will feature presentations from experts whose work has led to successful steps toward addressing racial inequities in their communities.
The Summit will be highly interactive, with many opportunities for community members to connect with other participants and provide feedback.
The Chuckanut Health Foundation is partnering with the city and county to support a community-led vision for the commission.
The Summit will be held online from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, May 22nd.
