DETROIT, Mich. (AP) — Ram is recalling hundreds of thousands of pickup trucks because of a problem with the tailgate.
The tailgates can apparently open while the trucks are being driven.
KOMO reports the recall covers certain Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from 2013-2018 that have power locking tailgates.
Fiat Chrysler says they’re not aware of any injuries or accidents caused by the problem.
This is part of a series of recalls the company made throughout the past two years for the same problem.
Owners of the latest batch of recalled trucks will get letters starting around October 18 notifying them to take their trucks to a dealer for service.
