Recovery grants still available for businesses affected by flooding

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Financial assistance for small businesses affected by last fall’s floods has not yet dried up.

The window to apply for Recovery Grants of up to $5,000 is now open to local small businesses.

The grants from the Whatcom Small Business Disaster Recovery Fund do not need to be repaid.

They can be used for essential expenses like payroll, rent, repairs and even efforts to mitigate future disasters.

Applications are being accepted now through May 3rd.
