BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Congressman Rick Larsen (D) will be in Whatcom County Wednesday to discuss affordable housing, LGBT legislation and local entrepreneurship.
He will host a roundtable to discuss the obstacles to affordable housing in the county as part of a series across the Second Congressional District.
Larsen is running for reelection and a recount results that will be finalized on Wednesday will determine who he faces in November.
Gary Franco, an Independent, and Brian Luke, a Libertarian, are vying for the second spot, but they are separated by just a few dozen votes which forced the recount.
