LYNDEN, Wash. — Local State Representative Luanne Van Werven is hosting town hall meetings in Whatcom County this week.
Van Werven has represented Washington’s 42nd legislative district, which includes most of Whatcom County, since 2015.
She will be holding two community town hall events to offer a preview of the upcoming legislative session and answer any questions.
The first event will be held at Bob’s Burgers and Brew in Blaine at 4 PM Thursday for Birch Bay, Blaine, Custer and Ferndale.
She will head to the Lynden Library on Friday for an event from 12:30-2 PM.
