WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A number of roads in Whatcom County are still closed due to damage from flooding in November.

Birch Bay-Lynden Road remains closed by a washout at California Creek near Hamm Road.

Emergency repairs are expected to be completed by mid-January.

Design and permitting needs for permanent repairs which will be done at a later date.

Other roads still affected include South Pass, North Fork and Goshen Roads.

Repairs were being done Wednesday, December 22nd, on the Nooksack River Bridge in Everson.

It’s been down to one lane of alternating traffic since the floods.
