Sedro-Woolley police responded to a report of a sex offense near Cascade Middle School Monday evening.
A witness reported a man was naked from the waist down and performing a sex act.
Officers found him in that condition and he told them he had lost his clothes while having a dream.
They took him into custody and fire department personnel transported him to a hospital where he was evaluated before being booked into jail.
