OLYMPIA, Wash. — More restaurant chains are dropping their “no poach” practices, allowing more freedom and opportunities for employees.

The State Attorney General’s Office says Applebee’s, Five Guys, IHOP, Jamba Juice, Little Caesars, Sonic and two other chains will remove language from contracts preventing employees from moving to competing restaurant chains.

As part of the nationwide agreement, independent franchise owners must also follow the requirements.
