OLYMPIA, Wash. — If you’re like many local Whatcom County residents travelling to Island Drug in Oak Harbor for your COVID-19 shot, heads up for a traffic alert.
The state DOT says restoration work will continue on the Highway 20 Deception Pass bridge.
Sandblasting and painting work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday.
Daytime travelers across the bridge have been experiencing some slowdowns on the bridge during the week amid the increased traffic.
The Canoe pass bridge is being refreshed as well.
