BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Prepare for backups on Mount Baker Highway this week.
Starting Monday, WSDOT crews will close one lane of each direction on the highway between Britton Road and Smith Road every night from 8 PM to 7 AM until Wednesday, where they will then spend the rest of the week working on the stretch from Deming to Kendall.
This is part of a project to resurface nearly 16 miles of Mount Baker Highway.
WSDOT says travelers should expect 20-45 minute delays behind this work zone, which will require some daytime closures.
