LYNDEN, Wash. — A community group is offering a big reward for information leading to the arrest of vandals who hit a park in Lynden Monday.
Lieutenant Jeremy Bos from the Lynden Police Department confirmed that a City of Lynden Parks employee reported spray-painted playground equipment in the Million Smiles Park just before 9 AM Monday.
Bos says it doesn’t look like any permanent damage has been done, and Park employees have since cleaned it up.
Community group Lynden Watch posted on their Facebook saying a private source is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
