BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Roadwork throughout the area will impact local drivers this week.
Hovander Road between Main Street and LaBounty Drive is closed to through traffic until further notice.
The work at Northwest and Slater Road is almost complete, but the county asks drivers to allow extra time to pass through the area as crews finish up the work.
And construction work on Birch Bay Drive will result in single lane closures through Thursday as crews deliver gravel, place it west of Birch Bay Drive, install a construction entrance and prepare the area for additional work.
