WHITE PASS, Wash. – Just hours after reopening, WSDOT says a mountain pass will be closed again.

In a Twitter post, officials said a rockslide on White Pass was discovered shortly after crews determined the pass was safe for travel.

Crews will be out this morning to assess the damage and determine a safe date to reopen the pass.

Over the weekend, all four major mountain passes in Washington State were closed due to heavy snow.

Snoqualmie and Blewett passes have since reopened, but Stevens pass remains closed along with White Pass.
