BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A chain reaction crash caused an afternoon backup on I-5 Thursday, October 14th.
Washington State Patrol Officer Rocky Oliphant said on Twitter that a car lost control when it tried to merge onto I-5 NB around 1:30 pm.
The car rolled over, causing three more vehicles to crash along the slick roadway.
The crash ended up blocking the off-ramp to Iowa and State Streets for over an hour.
Officers did not confirm any injuries or how many people were involved in the accident.
