PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP)- A 73-year-old Bremerton man is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor for sleeping with a 17-year-old girl.
The Kitsap Sun reports Larry Iversen was the Youth Exchange Officer for the East Bremerton Rotary and the girl was in the foreign exchange program.
According to police Iversen said the relationship began after he bought the girl a ring in Spring of 2017.
Iversen is permanently banned from the Rotary club.
His attorney says Iversen will plead not guilty.
