FERNDALE, Wash. — Construction of a new roundabout on Grandview Road starts next Monday, July 16.
Prepare for a month of alternating traffic and delays at Grandview and Kickerville roads, as the Washington State Department of Transportation begins the project.
It will be split into five different stages, involving excavation, island installation, and laying new asphalt. The detailed plan can be viewed here.
WSDOT estimates the project to cost around $1.5 million. BP America provided some of this funding.
Crews hope to have the roundabout open by mid-August.
