OLYMPIA, Wash. — Samsung will pay Washington consumers millions of dollars for price fixing on TV’s.

The Attorney General’s Office announced Tuesday that Samsung will pay $29 million as part of a price fixing lawsuit against seven manufacturers of Cathode Ray Tubes, or CRT’s.

To resolve the price-fixing scheme the money will go to millions of Washington consumers who were overcharged.

The seven companies involved are paying over $39 million.

The Attorney General’s Office will distribute a bulk of the money to Washington consumers and State agencies who purchased CRT’s during the conspiracy period of 1995 to 2007.
