FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. — The San Juan Islands want you to know they love you, but would prefer you stay home for now.

While it may seem like a nice trip during this quarantine and even provide social distancing to those visiting from the mainland, the San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau says travelers may jeopardize the island community’s limited supplies and emergency resources.

They ask everyone, including visiting boaters wanting to moor at their marinas, to stay home and warn any overnight transient moorage is against the governor’s orders and not allowed until at least May 4th.
