FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. – San Juan Island students are back to school Tuesday after a teacher strike.

The four-day strike ended Monday night after a new contract agreement was negotiated.

KOMO reported the new agreement includes a three-percent pay raise on top of a 2.3 percent cost-of-living adjustment and classroom budgets.

School had been scheduled to start Friday, but teachers voted to strike after negotiations failed.
