MOUNT VERNON, Wash – Three people including a child victim are in the hospital after a DUI crash on Highway 9 two miles east of Mount Vernon at about 3pm Saturday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol says 39 year old Clinton Ecret of Sedro-Woolley was taken to Harborview Medical Center, and charged with DUI, after he attempted to make a pass in the no passing zone near Beaver Lake Road.
That resulted in a collision with a car driven by Corrine Henderson of Mount Vernon. She and a child in her car were taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.
