BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The latest phone scam going around Whatcom County has scammers posing as PeaceHealth reps.
PeaceHealth posted on their Facebook warning the community about phony calls from PeaceHealth notifying people that they have been awarded a free vacation.
In return, they ask for a credit or debit card to process the giveaway.
PeaceHealth says that’s a scam and they urge anyone who receives the call to hang up immediately.
