Seattle Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark was thrown out of training camp practice after punching teammate Germain Ifedi in the face Thursday. The punch led to a brawl between offensive and defensive players at the VMAC in Renton.

Ifedi wasn’t wearing a helmet and Clark’s punch dropped the offensive lineman to the ground, where he stayed for several minutes. Clark was sent off for the final half hour of practice. Ifedi eventually left practice early as well, after receiving treatment from trainers.

After practice, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he was disappointed with what happened. “There is no room for fighting in football. It is not part of this game. It’s not supposed to be part of this game, and we frown upon that very heavily,” said Carroll. “So, real disappointed that that happened today. We have to learn and get better and be right.”
