According to The Seattle Times, the Seattle Seahawks have signed cornerback Mike Tyson. Tyson was a sixth round selection by the Hawks this year, taken 187th overall. Tyson is the fifth of Seattle’s 11 draft picks now under contract.

Tyson was listed as a safety from Cincinnati, but is being moved to cornerback by the Hawks. He gets a four-year deal worth a total of $2.5 million with a $172,000 signing bonus, the standard for all rookie contracts. He joins safety Tedric Thompson (fourth-round), offensive tackle Justin Senior (sixth-round), receiver David Moore (seventh-round) and running back Chris Carson.
