The Seahawks have added some speed to their roster.  Seattle has signed former Louisiana State University track star Cyril Grayson.

Grayson worked out as a receiver at LSU’s pro day last week. He impressed scouts with a 40-yard dash time of 4.33 seconds. The 23-year-old never played football for the Tigers. As a fifth-year senior he was eligible to be signed immediately without going through the draft.

Grayson won four national championships on LSU relay teams. He was named an All-American seven times during his track and field career.

According to Seahawks.com, Grayson hasn’t played organized football since 2011, his senior season at Rummel High School in a suburb of New Orleans.
