OAK HARBOR, Wash. — Naval Air Station Whidbey Island conducted two rescues on Saturday.
Saturday morning, Search and Rescue was called to help two men in the Olympic National Forest.
The hikers set off their emergency beacons because they were cold and lost in bad weather at approximately 5,100 feet.
They were found uninjured on a steep trail and taken to Fairchild Airport in Port Angeles.
Later on Saturday the team was called to rescue a hunter who had fallen sixty feet and had multiple injuries near Spirit Lake at Mount St. Helens.
The injured man was located and transported to a hospital in Portland.
