MOUNT BAKER, Wash. — A Naval helicopter crew rescued two climbers, one of whom was injured, on Mount Baker Sunday.

Naval Air Station Whidbey Island said after searching the area for only 15 minutes they found the climbers on a steep rock face at nearly 9,000 feet .

One had a broken arm and ribs while the other was uninjured.

The crew hoisted them aboard and took them to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

NAS Search and Rescue has conducted 22 missions throughout Washington this year.
