SEATTLE, Wash. — A Seattle felon was indicted Thursday for possession of a dozen guns, including AR-style rifles.

The Department of Justice says 66-year-old Park Quan was arrested on July 29 after FBI agents discovered a cache of weapons in his home while investigating one of his roommates in connection with data theft.

The weapons included four semi-automatic handguns and eight rifles, six of which were semi-automatic rifles including two AR-style assault rifles.

Quan was convicted in 1983 for possession of explosives and in 1991 for possessing an unregistered machine gun.

Being a felon in possession of a firearm is punishable by up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

His arraignment is scheduled for August 22.
