SEATTLE, Wash. — 498 new U.S. citizens were sworn in at the Seattle Center Wednesday.
The Seattle Times reports the immigrants came from eighty-three different countries.
Senator Maria Cantwell and Governor Inslee were on hand to welcome the new citizens.
Speakers urged them to vote and many said they didn’t need the reminder.
