BELLEVUE, Wash. — With devastating wildfires burning in California, their local animal shelters are overloaded and Seattle Humane in Bellevue is expecting hundreds of animal transfers to their shelter.
KING 5 reports about 300 animals are headed this way, with the first wave expected Tuesday.
Seattle Humane says people can help by adopting, donating or getting the information out.
The animals coming here were already in California shelters and are being moved to make way for pets displaced by the fires.
