DETROIT, MICH. (AP) Seattle rocker Chris Cornell, who gained fame as the lead singer of Soundgarden, has died at age 52.
A representative says Cornell died while on tour Wednesday night in Detroit after a show.
He called the rock singer’s death “sudden and unexpected” and says Cornell’s wife and family were shocked by it.
