SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle’s first tiny house village for homeless women is open.
KOMO reports the village on City Light property near Ballard opens Wednesday.
The organization behind the village, the Low Income Housing Institute, says it was mostly built by women.
Up to twenty women will be able to live there.
Drugs and alcohol will be allowed but not in public places.
