OLYMPIA, Wash. — All K-12 students in Washington can learn how to become informed voters early on with mock elections.

Secretary of State Kim Wyman says the annual Student Mock Election is on until November 6.

The Mock Election is a non-partisan educational event where students can vote on real ballot measures and real candidates on paper ballots.

Teacher can snag free resources online, including “I voted” stickers and Voter’s Pamphlets.

Wyman says introducing students to the value of civic participation at a young age is a critical step to help grow the next generation of informed and involved citizens.
