OLYMPIA, Wash. — With two weeks left until the voting registration deadline, Secretary of State Kim Wyman is joining the National Voter Registration Day activities highlighting ways eligible citizens can easily register.
Secretary Wyman plans to attend a series of events today, including an “Ask Me Anything” live online discussion on Reddit.com, a class at Highline College in Des Moines, an assembly at Mount Tahoma High School and a voter registration drive at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.
She says her focus is emphasizing the importance of voting to young people.
October 8 is the deadline to register if you want to participate in this November’s election, though registration is still available in person at county offices up to October 29.
