BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Sehome High School’s principal is asking for trust as the school continues to address student misconduct within their football team.
In a letter sent to parents Tuesday, September 20th, Principal Sonia Cole said that school officials have been investigating claims of “serious, confirmed student behaviors.”
Last Friday’s game against Sedro-Woolley was cancelled as a result of the investigation.
Cole said that practices and meetings resumed on Monday, September 19th.
She also asked for the community’s help tackling misinformation related to the incident.
Cole called out community members who were spreading “unhelpful” rumors and pled with people to reach out to her instead.
