SEATTLE, Wash. — Senator Maria Cantwell joined other Democratic senators at a Washington D.C. gas station Wednesday to urge the Trump Administration to work to lower gas prices.
They blame the president’s policies for the sharp increase.
Cantwell said they want the administration to pressure OPEC to increase production and take other measures to increase the oil supply.
AAA reports Whatcom County drivers are paying an average $3.54 a gallon, which is seventy cents higher than we were paying at this same time last year.
