VANCOUVER, Wash. — Senator Patty Murray and ten other senators accused the Trump Administration of withholding toxin health information.

Senator Murray’s office says the administration is keeping a report under wraps that she claims shows toxic PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substances) pose danger to human health at lower levels than what the EPA is currently telling the public.

PFAS are chemicals linked to serious health effects and are used to manufacture products like fabric protectors, firefighting foam, and stain repellant.

The group of senators, which includes Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren, demanded EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt immediately release the report.
