OLYMPIA, Wash. — State Senator Doug Ericksen of Ferndale and state Representative Vincent Buys of Lynden joined another state lawmaker and WSU football coach Mike Leach on a trip to Cambodia.
The Spokesman-Review reports the group met with the prime minister and other government officials this week.
Leach tweeted that it’s a trade and friendship mission.
The university says Leach paid his own way.
It’s unclear if the lawmakers paid for the trip or if they are guests of another organization.
