MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – Some people are now admitting they helped cause the 2013 collapse of the Skagit River Bridge in Mount Vernon.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports the driver of the semi-truck that hit the bridge, his employer and the pilot car driver say they’re partly to blame.

The state says a truck driver who tried to pass on the bridge, his employer and the pilot car company are also at fault.

The cost of the collapse is estimated at about $20 million.
